What made you want to open a salon?
I think you get to a point in life when you realise you can't work for someone else anymore. When you begin to create your own ideas about working for yourself, and the right location presents itself.....that's how it starts. The rest is determination to succeed and managing on a very steep learning curve.
What makes you happy?
Hot sunshine every day
What do you do in your spare time?
I make hand forged silver jewellery and enamelled earrings on copper that I sell in the shop!

Yes, I ve grown up around the countryside and I do showjumping with my horse called Avalon

I took engineering at school so I could do metalwork as a farrier, but then I decided I wanted to be a hairdresser
